That's incredible but I've come into some new informations on an official Zork game that I never heard before!
Seems that in the early 80's, when Mattel was working hard on improving Intellivision's game library, someone tought that an action adventure game inspired to Zork was a good idea.
That game was called Explorer and was planned to have a gameplay very close to Mattel's Advanced Dungeons & Dragons.
Unfortunately, due to the fact that both games could become very similar, Mattel decided to stop the development of Explorer.
